    This was a terrible translation There were several spelling mistakes and unbearably bizarre translations of common expressions I have no idea whether the book would be worth reading in the original language because this was one long exercise in frustration

    I find it difficult to believe that the author could remember so much from when she was little That aside it is a good insight into the mind of a person with a form of autism

    This novel was quite boring actually I learnt about Aspergers or high functioning autism when I read The curious incident of the dog in the night time by Mark Haddon The latter is much better
