I know she just released this book but I SO want her to hurry up and write another in this series The endless possibilities I highly recommend this book and the WHOLE Broken series I would put ML Stephens right up there with Faith Hunter and Rachel Caine From the first paragraph to the last this story grabbed me and didn't let me go

First of all just want to say thank you to ML Stephens for the privilege of reading A Witch's Curse The book is well written and she refers to the past characters in such a subtle manner so as not to spoil it for those who have not been able to read books 1 4 but for those of us that have read the Broken Series it stirs up bittersweet memories of characters we fell in love with and that became a part of our lives ML Stephens did justice to both the past and new characters ♡♥

ML Stephens has done it again This is by far the most amazing Broken Series novel Hecate and Drago will capture the readers attention from the very first page and take them on a journey that leads them from the past through the present and into the futureHecate was resurrected by Claire's coven before her fight with Lucian What they didn't know was that Hecate was being watched by the shifter Drago While he watched he tried to find a time that he could approach her as he'd planned to do his entire life only the Fates intervened Because of what happened in the past Hecate intertwined her present and future with Drago without even realizing it With the help of her lover Packto and the gods of Ancient Greece the future was set Battle ensued and helped push the plan forwardWhen hate becomes love and that love is threatened by someone who is your own blood but someone you want to kill what do you do? For Drago the choice was simple save the woman he loved no matter the cost With the help of Claire and Hunter they do exactly that From there what happens next is up to Drago and Hecate Hot witches shifters evil and the never failing use of magic ML Stephens brings a world forward that will change your views on the supernatural world Not everything is as it seems and behind every myth and fairy tale there truth even if it's only a little

In the spirit of full disclosure I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review I love the Broken series Every character earns a place in readers hearts The characters and plot of this book are no less memorable and mesmerizing than the rest of the seriesIn A Witch's Curse we get to experience Hectate's story She's the original witch revived in modern times We get to discover her well thought out story and she takes us on an emotional ride Drago the hero is as impressive as the other heroes of the series His story is full of emotional turmoil and struggles as well These two polar opposites take us on a curving path that keeps readers on the edge and begging to learn The author adds her uniue humor in small doses which also keeps readers turning the pages

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review In all honesty the Broken Series has and always will hold a special place in my heart simply because it is set in my beloved Louisiana But besides that fact this book is freaking awesome ML Stephens again did not disappoint with this one While I absolutely love the characters of Claire and Hunter main characters in the previous Broken novels I loved that this book focused on Hecate the original witch Centuries ago Hecate cursed the man Drago who killed her lover Drago spent centuries searching for the woman who cursed him However upon finding her his feelings changed But did Hecate's feelings change towards him? Witchcraft shape shifters and mystery in the Bayou made this novel a perfect readWhile I have read all of the previous Broken novels this book will be very easily understood without having read them although I recommend reading them anyway Paranormal was never really my thing until I was introduced to this series ML Stephens never disappoints with her books I'm already anticipating the next oneFor this and other reviews wwwcjbookandmoviereviewblogspotcom

R2R LoP A Witch's Curse Broken Series #5I received a free copy through LoP in exchange for a reviewThe age old fight between humans and immortals This fight just happens to involve the gods and not just any gods both the Greek and Roman gods come together to defeat this human force But during this fight an unfortunate death happens; Hecate's lover is killed and her need for revenge takes an interesting turn She curses the person who killed her lover thus ending her life and making his a living hell Drago is turned into an immortal but not just any immortal He also takes on being a werewolf just like Hecate's lover Centuries pass him trying to find Hecate to reverse the curse and then a change of events occur Hecate is brought back to life by a coven of witches to become a guardian of one of their children He watches her from afar trying to devise a plan to approach her to get the curse lifted They are linked together and the outcome is not something that any of them foresaw'The academy would be a place where children with supernatural abilities could come together and learn to harness and practice their skills As a safe haven for those with psychic abilities the ability the communicate with the dead those with telekinetic powers or those who exhibited signs of old magic it was a place unlike any other The supernaturally gifted could come together without prejudice or fear from the outside world It would also be a place where the ghosts who still roamed the realm between life and death could come to discover the secrets needed to open their doors into the afterlife The Fontaine Academy was the first step in reclaiming the ways of forgotten archaic magic'I am so happy that I came across this book since I love a good series I liked how the author teamed the Roman Greek gods together something that I have always wondered about Well developed characters and a super fast read Now I just have to start at the beginning

This is a Window Seat Blog review This book was initially hard for me to get into There are a lot of characters from the get go and it's hard to stay focused on them and really sort through who they are We also aren't given many descriptive details to tell them apart However that's probably because these are all characters from the first few books of the series which unfortunately I have yet to read Once I got past that however there were interesting aspects to this story I did have some problems with pacing I felt like things could have been slowed down in some areas given detail One issue I did have was how confusing the original bits between her and Drago were At first it was confusing because I had to try and think Did she think he was her old love for some reason and why? and Why didn't he notice she was referring to him as someone else? Stuff like that When I'm reading a story I don't want to ever have to stop and reread something in order to understand it though later on it gets better and things are made a lot clear I love the action in this book and the relationships the ones from past books and the ones that develop here I don't want to say too much and give anything away so I'm keeping this review short and simple I do plan on reading the other books in this series now so I do suggest checking it out The twist on Hecate and the gods was really fun to read Imaginative With action romance and paranormal aspects it's hard to go wrong

I really enjoyed this book I love when Authors put the Gods into their books and do a great job with it You get books with Vamps Shifters and Witches all the time The Gods and Demi Gods are making uite a splash in books nowadays and this one was great This is the first one that I have personally read that has Hecate and Neptune in it even though he's not one of the main players When you are writing about the Gods you really have to make it good and ML Stephens did a great job with thatThe Gods had a battle with the Mortals and Hecate had seen her lover Packto slain and it infuriated her Therefore she made a vow to curse the mortal who had killed himDrago did not want to be a wolf shifter He was cursed by Hecate and once she was resurrected by Witches he knew it was finally time to try and get her to give him the cure but the fates had something else in mind and he finds himself attracted to her like no other But someone else Someone evil is also after Hecate Drago will have to protect her and convince her to be with himThis book had a lot of twists and turns and some unexpected revelations This book was able to be read as a stand alone but I am definitely interested in reading the rest of the series now I would definitely recommend reading this book and if you are like me and you haven't already you will definitely want to read the rest of the series also
